Karin Grasenick is founder and managing partner of convelop cooperative knowledge design gmbh, a company that focuses, among other things, on diversity and equal opportunities in research, technology and innovation. Karin studied sociology and technical mathematics and holds a PhD in biomedical engineering and computer science; the company she founded on the basis of her doctorate was awarded the Austrian State Prize for Innovation.

Karin completed numerous additional trainings on Relational and Solution Focused Coaching, Change and Diversity Management, Gender Mainstreaming, inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration, facilitation and mediation. She is a certified CPC (Conflict Partnership Catalyst) and founder of www.conflictpartnership.net.

Karin works as a speaker, consultant, coach and trainer mainly for universities and companies with a technical focus as well as NGOs on topics such as strategy, diversity and interdisciplinary collaboration, indicators and evaluation. For the Human Brain Project, she developed the Gender Action Plan and coordinated its implementation with the Diversity and Equal Opportunity Committee.
